    When Stacia's Place closed everyone in the neighborhood felt the loss. Stacia was a 35 year veteran who made great burgers and sandwiches. What would take her place? We had Jackie at Amazing Pizza doing incredible food but then ChezCasa arrived. It was a long time coming but I gave them a try. I am not a person to be overwhelmed by trendy food. I had a brain injury a few years ago and it affected my sense of taste and smell so foodie concerns are low on my list. However. I tried them out and I was blown away. I have everything without egg because eggs make me throw up so my first choice was the breaded pork cutlet sandwich without the mayo and my second was the rare seared tuna without the aioli. I was so impressed that they could accommodate my allergy so readily. Each sandwich was sooo delicious. From the first bite I realized I was eating the food of a master chef. This is quite simply the best sandwich shop I have ever experienced. Living in the neighborhood I know that my experience is not unique. Everyone who has tried it has been overwhelmed. I am astonished that our corner of Salem has such an amazing place to eat.

    So excited this has arrived in our neighborhood! Super fresh, tasty, friendly, and convenient! I had the roasted beet quinoa salad. Generous portions and nice mix of veggies, quinoa, and toppings. Partner had The Schnitz. He was very pleased. Came with homemade chips and pickle. Can't wait to try more of the menu.
